【Highlights of Today】Set off from Nyingchi, known as the "Jiangnan (the south of the Yangtze River) of Tibet". Head to Basong Co, the largest barrier lake in eastern Tibet. It is shaped like a crescent moon in the night sky, looking romantic and gentle. The snow-capped peaks of the surrounding high mountains never melt throughout the year, and the scenery in all four seasons has its own unique features. Climb onto the island in the middle of the lake, where the Cuo Zong Gongba Temple, a building from the Tang Dynasty, is quietly telling its history.
